*Deborah Karp Dance Projects produces an evening of live performance and critical discussion by four artist/educators examining the relationship of art-making to art-teaching. Featuring dance artists The Thick Rich Ones, Cherie Hill IrieDance, Deborah Karp Dance Projects, and music artist Aram Shelton. Post-performance discussion facilitated by artist/scholar Megan Nicely.*

Deborah Karp Dance Projects will present new work on Sunday, May 13 at 2pm as part of 2nd Sundays Dance Salon at Counterpulse.

Join us for a benefit for Temescal Arts Center on Friday, June 29 at 8pm and see Deborah’s signature solo “Fly With Me”.

We were delighted to be a featured artist with Luna Kids’ 20th Birthday Celebration in their event 20/20 Points of View.


Penthouse/The Roof Show, experimental dances for a Bushwick rooftop, at 345 Eldert St. will explode on Saturday June 11th.  FREE! Rain or shine!  Also, featuring works by RoxanneLola MovementMachine,  Launch Movement Experiment, Rishauna Zumberg, and an original sound score by bang sway. Performances at 6:30pm and again just after sundown.

This House, a duet created for dancers Erin Sylvester and Lea Fulton, performed at Dixon Place on March 29 at 8pm, as part of their Crossing Boundaries Series and Green Space on April 17, as part of the Green Space Blooms Festival.

Fly With Me, Deborah Karp’s signature solo work, part of the Comedy in Dance Festival at Triskelion Arts on April 15 and 23.
